The meaning of the lotus flower symbol is derived from the flower's life cycle, where all humans are born into a world of suffering where they must learn to overcome difficult times so that they can become a better person and reach spiritual enlightenment. A common symbol used in yoga and meditation to represent calm of mind.

Made from hand cut timber veneers by Corinne and a Walnut box by collaborator Steven Giannuzzi.

This piece is a collaboration between Corinne and fine furniture maker Steven Giannuzzi ¹. Corinne designs and hand cuts and paints the unique marquetry design, while Steven meticulously creates the beautiful box.
